If you have an older or disabled pet that has trouble walking, you may want to think about investing in a pet stroller.  I know some people think pet strollers are a little odd, and that it defeats the purpose of getting your pet out for exercise - but what if your pet physically can’t get exercise anymore?  Should they be confined to the house?  Absolutely not.

Fresh air and a change of scenery are also benefits of going for a walk.  Not to mention pets usually also love the companionship and one on one time they get with you while going for a walk.  A pet stroller alllows your best friend to still enjoy time with you, out in the fresh air.  Pet strollers have come a long way since they first came out.  They are very stylish now, and have many convenient features.  Some can even convert into pet carriers and/or car seats!  And if you’re a jogger, or enjoy bike rides, there are Pet Bike Trailers and Jogger strollers.

As our beloved pets age, many of them begin to have leg and hip problems.  It gets harder for them to climb up stairs, get on and off the couch or bed, and even walk.  Don’t let that keep you from getting them out and about! 

Dogs need to get out for fresh air once in a while.  They love sniffing new scents and seeing new scenery.  They may even have some near-by friends they like to visit.  Even with physical ailments and aging, dogs can still get out for walk with you.  All you need is a pet stroller.  Pet strollers have become pretty trendy.  Most are lightweight, easy to fold down for storage, and comfortable for your pet to ride in.  They even have jogging strollers for pets!

Don’t coup your pet up any longer, get a pet stroller and let them get out and “walk” with you.  I’m sure they will appreciate it!

Pet strollers are sometimes looked at as a goofy idea.  It may seem a little strange, but there are many reasons pet strollers are used.

• Handicapped pets can still get out and go for a “walk”
• Small pets can get out for fresh air, but still be safe from large, sometimes over-playful animals.
• Older pets who can’t walk as far as they used to have a comfortable place to rest.
• Young pets who aren’t trained yet have a secure place to play when going with for family outtings.

Many Pet strollers often double as safe pet car seats, and have storage areas for pet toys, or food and water.  Safe, reliable, and convenient, pet strollers make it possible for all pets to get out and enjoy life outside!
