Trying to plan an affordable vacation in today’s current economy is no easy task. Gas prices are on the rise, airfare is increasing, hotels can be costly, and paying a sitter or kennel to watch your dog may not be in your budget. I have one word for you- Camping. It’s cheaper, you don’t have to go far, it’s fun, and many campgrounds allow pets. Not sure your dog will sleep in a tent with you? No problem- get him his own pet tent (yes- they do exist!)
Pet tents give your dog a safe, comfortable place to rest while camping. They are waterproof, durable, and well-ventilated, making them the perfect sanctuary for your pooch. If there’s room in your vehicle, it may even calm your pet to use the tent as a pet house for the ride. If you don’t have room, don’t worry, most pet tents are fully collapsible for easy storage. And when you’re camping trip is over, it can double as a pet home, or protect your dog from the sun when you go to the beach.
